Odessa beaches brief review
Odessa is a wonderful resort. Even within the city boundaries there
are a lot of beaches of Odessa - the "Dophin"("Delfin") beach,
Lanjeron ("Lanzheron") "Luzanovka", "Otrada", "Chaika", "Arkadiya"
beach. Basically, the whole beach line of Odessa is an entire beach
zone from Lanjeron to Kovalevski's dacha(summer house)
A nice combination of the marine and steppe climates makes the beaches
of Odessa unique. You will definitely remember days spent here. A lot
of sunny days, plenty of fruit and fresh sea air make your stay on the
beaches of Odessa not only pleasant but very healthy during all
season.
We can personally recommend some beaches of Odessa. First one-
Arkadiya beach. Arkadiya is a beautiful place. A few health centers
are located near it. One particular feature of this Odessa beach is an
entertaining center "Kontiki" with dozens of night clubs, restaurants
and hundreds of small bars and cafes. By the way, at night beaches of
Arkadia turn into the center of Odessa night life - if you are a party
person, then certainly visit it at night. We are sure, you will like
it :)
How to get to Arkadiya? We recommend you to use a taxi. If you live in
our apartment in the city center and go to Arkadiya by taxi, this ride
will cost you approximately 50-70 hrv (it's about $7- $9)
Notice! All this crasy life lives only during the summer season.
During the rest of the time Arkadiya turns into a desert place, and
from October till May tourist have nothing to do there, believe us...
The oldest Odessa beach that is the closest one to the center is
"Lanjeron"("Lanzheron"). It is one of the developed beaches. There are
lots of guests and citizens. You can rent beach beds, umbrellas
everywhere on the beach - prices are the same. There is a beach club
"Treasure island" where the prices for renting beach things will be
higher. Here are a lot of good restaurants. Besides, Dolphins show
center is located on Lanjeron. You can see a few shows a day. Also,
there is an aquarium. You can use wi-fi internet in many seacost bars.
Another excellent beach is "Big Fountain". To be specific, it is the
whole series of Odessa beaches. The most popular ones are "Chaika" and
"Kurortnyi" These beaches of Odessa suburbs will give you
everything you want to see on the Black Sea including exciting rides
on the water bikes and so called "bananas" If you aren't looking for
any unpretentious beaches, then a popular beach "Lanjeron" which is
near "Zirka" hotel is for you.
Lusanovka - is a favourite beach of people who live in Kotovskyi
region. Residents of other neighbourhoods come here rarely that is why
this beach is not so crowed as the other ones. The infrastructure is
developed enough: bars and restaurants are in abundance. Different
entertainments on water and land are there, also a good number of
children play grounds. You can get to Lusanovka from the
center by any mini bus(marshrutka) that runs to Kotovski region
